China Reaffirms ‘Deeply Rooted’ Ties With Pakistan Following Terror Attack

The Chinese government mounted a coordinated response on Wednesday to this week’s terror attack in northwest Pakistan that killed five Chinese nationals and a local driver.

Within hours of Tuesday’s attack, Ambassador Jiang Zaidong flew to the Dasu hydropower project construction site to console grieving workers mourning the deaths of their colleagues.
