He Hunghua, mayor of the sprawling industrial megacity of Chongqing in southwest China, wrapped up a week-long trade promotion visit to Kenya on Friday with more than $380 million of deals signed.

Among the new agreements includes the construction of a new industrial park specifically designed to assemble cars and motorcycles, something Chongqing officials know a lot about given their city is home to China’s largest automotive manufacturing hub
