Concerns Over Chinese Vaccine Efficacy Have Had No Measurable Impact on Distribution

Leaders and public health officials in developing countries have seemingly brushed aside concerns about the efficacy of Chinese-made vaccines. Many are courting Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturers to secure further supplies.

According to the latest figures compiled by Chinese state-run broadcaster CGTN, China has distributed vaccines to 25 African countries. While the number of countries on the continent is higher than any other region, the actual quantity of vaccines shipped is significantly smaller.
