Charter Flight Evacuates Chinese Nationals From Kenya

News quickly spread that a “mass exodus” of Chinese nationals was underway at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The Chinese were “fleeing” the country, according to the meme that was prevalent in both the news media and on social media platforms.

People were saying that the Chinese must know something about the worsening COVID-19 situation in Kenya which is why they’re now rushing to evacuate.
